How do I get to your shop from Coachella?
Interstate 10 west, off at the Monterey Avenue exit, then north on Monterey, left on Haskell Road, and right on Arbol Real to number 32125. It runs about eighteen miles. The Ramon Road exit is the one to skip, since it puts you west of the shop and you have to come back east.
Do I have to sit in the waiting room while you work on my car?
No. We run a free shuttle. When you book, tell us you are coming from Coachella and where you need to be, and we will tell you right then whether we can run you there. If we cannot, you find that out while you are still on the phone instead of after you arrive.
I live in Coachella. Can I get my registration smog check done at your shop?
Yes. A California smog certificate is filed electronically with the DMV and is valid statewide, so where you live in the valley does not matter. We are a licensed STAR test and repair station, which also covers you if your renewal notice directs you to a STAR station specifically.
Do you service commercial and work trucks?
Yes. Commercial fleet maintenance programs, priority scheduling and turnaround, and emailed service records per vehicle. Mixed makes and vehicle types go through the same shop, which is the point of not splitting a fleet across three specialists.
How often should filters be changed in this climate?
More often than the normal schedule says. Dust out here plugs engine and cabin air filters faster than carmakers assume for average conditions, so we check both on every maintenance visit instead of waiting on a mileage number.
